Success Stories

THIS is what we do...

Luna 🐶

Patience. Hope. Faith.

For 14 days… that’s what carried the Longinotti family through. On April 10, 2026 at approximately 12:42 PM, Jordan Longinotti filled out our LARG form.

Moments later, she typed four words in our chat:“I lost my puppy.”Those words never get easier to read.

Luna… just 8 months old. A baby, a family puppy taken 45 minutes from home, dropped off at a training facility around 8:00 AM… and then she was gone.

An unfamiliar place. New smells. Fear. Survival mode.

While people were out searching, calling, chasing… we had to say the hardest thing a family can hear:Stop.Because chasing doesn’t bring them home… it pushes them farther away.

We immediately went to work. Two thermal drones in the air.Hours of searching… and nothing. So we shifted. We counted on K9 Carly, the skill set of our drone pilots, traps, cameras, feeding stations, long nights, early mornings, studying maps, moving locations, reworking strategy again… and again… and again.

False sightings came in, the emotional rollercoaster no family should have to endure. But we stayed grounded in what we know works. And the Longinotti family… they never stopped believing.

Family members including Tyler Longinotti came into town and covered the area with flyers. The community showed up. Calls, messages, support… people who cared. And behind the scenes — we pushed harder. Because when a family doesn’t give up… neither do we.

Then the call came. Angela and Donald said…“She is here… she did come back.”Everything stops in that moment. We grabbed the equipment and headed to bring Luna home as promised. Michelle, Luna’s mom headed down. Joe, Luna’s dad was out of town for work, he had one request from the first time we spoke, if he was out of town — “please guide Michelle if I can’t be there, stay by her, it’s emotional.”We promised we would.Michelle listened. Trusted. She didn’t rush. Didn’t chase. She sat down… quiet… patient… heart racing.

And in less than 30 seconds…Luna smelled her mom… and ran straight into her arms. 14 days. Every emotion imaginable. And it all came down to that moment.

This is why we do what we do.Not for recognition. Not for anything else…But for that moment when a family is whole again.Welcome home, Luna.

Thank you to the community for the support and never giving up on Luna and for trusting us to bring her home.

Razy 🐾

Razzy’s mom took the time to complete the Lost Animal Resource Group

Like so many others, she understood that spending just a few minutes answering those questions allows our team to immediately begin building a plan.

When we reached out to her, she said,“Thank you. I just got a call that she has been found.”This time, there was no coaching, no drones, no K9, and no trapping. But it was still another pet parent we were able to connect with, share a few laughs with, and remind that help was there when it was needed.

Then we received the sweetest pictures of sassy, sweet, photogenic Razzy. Just look at those pearly whites and that beautiful, shiny coat. Our forms help us quickly determine what is needed for each case. Whether a family only needs coaching, what size trap needs to be pulled, updating a pet’s name on trail cameras, whether a LAANC authorization must be requested so our FAA licensed pilots can fly in controlled airspace, whether neighbors should be notified before our K9’s paws hit the ground, or whether flyers need to be created right away, every detail matters.

We are not just a coaching company.

We are not just a trapping company.

We are not just a drone company. We are not just a K9 tracking company.

We do it all.

We are a Pet Recovery Company, and we truly do it all. Our proven success is more than numbers. It is found in the stories, the reunions, and the reminders that reaching out to us gives pet parents the best chance of bringing their pet home safely.

To everyone who supports us, shares our posts, sends people our way, and believes in us, never forget: YOU are part of the reason these pets are found and families are made whole again.YOU are part of these stories.Welcome home Ms Razzy

Birdie 🐶

Birdie the Brave Little Dog.

Birdie the Brave Little Dog

A true story about patience, kindness, and finding home

One chilly day, just after Thanksgiving, a little white dog appeared all alone.

Her name wasn’t known yet.She had soft white fur and one black patch over her eye, like she was wearing a tiny mask.

She wandered near a driveway, looking up the road again and again.

She was waiting.Waiting for someone who never came back.

Two kind sisters, Cyndi and Leah, saw her.“Hey there, buddy,” they called gently. They brought her food and spoke in soft voices. But the little dog was very, very scared. She stayed far away, watching with wide, worried eyes. When they took a step closer—whoosh!

She ran away. That night, the sisters left food behind and hoped. And the next morning? The little dog was still there. Day after day, she stayed in the same place. She would run up to the driveway, look around, and wait… just in case her family came back. But no one did.

Cyndi and Leah knew they had to help. They called in a team of animal rescuers—people who help lost pets find safety again. The Lost Animal Resource Group - LARG and First Response Drone Pet Search & Rescue with Bernie Hilditch and Bob Swensen. The team brought special traps and tasty food that usually worked like magic.

But not this time. The little dog wouldn’t go near them at all. They tried everything. They left trails of yummy food. They put out warm straw for her to sleep on.They even brought friendly dogs to say hello. Nothing worked. The little dog was too afraid. Soon, they realized something important.

This wasn’t just any dog. This was a very brave dog trying to survive all on her own. At first, they thought she was a boy and called her “Buddy.”But one day, they got close enough to see—“Buddy” was a girl! They chose a new name that sounded similar. They called her…Birdie.

Birdie began to learn about the people trying to help her. She learned the sound of their cars. She watched them from her favorite spots. She stayed close—but never too close. And every night, it got colder.Very cold.Birdie had no home, no bed, and no blanket.

She curled up near a fallen tree to stay warm. The rescuers worried.“How can we help her?” they wondered. They didn’t give up. Not for one single day. Finally, they built something special just for Birdie—a gentle, clever trap made to keep her safe without scaring her. They called it the Birdie Door. But even with that, they needed one more thing.Trust. And Birdie trusted one person the most. Cyndi.

One quiet day, Cyndi did something very brave. She sat down right next to the trap and waited. She didn’t move. She didn’t rush. She just stayed calm and kind.Birdie came closer.Step by step. She sniffed the food. She took a bite. She stepped in… then out… then in again. Each time, she went a little farther. The world felt very still. Everyone watched.Everyone hoped.

Then—SNAP! The trap gently closed. Birdie was safe.

She was scared at first. She wiggled and pulled, trying to get away. But the rescuers were gentle. They spoke softly. They worked together. They kept her safe. Soon, Birdie was carefully placed into a crate. For the first time in a long, long while…She didn’t have to run anymore.Birdie went to a warm home. She had a quiet room, soft blankets, and food just for her. At first, she was still very afraid. She stayed still and silent. But the people around her were patient. They sat with her. They spoke kindly. They showed her love. Little by little…Birdie began to feel safe.

Her body grew stronger. Her fear grew smaller. And her heart… began to open. Birdie wasn’t just a lost dog anymore. She was a brave little survivor. A dog who learned that even after something sad…There can still be kindness.

There can still be hope. And there can still be love. And Birdie’s story? It’s not over yet.In fact…Her happiest chapters are just beginning.

Daisy 🐱

Daisy, the beautiful green-eyed black cat is home after 40 days!

This skittish indoor kitty had gotten into the garage without anyone's knowledge, and when the rolling door was opened she got scared & ran out. A black cat disappears pretty quickly in the dark, and her family hoped she would be home before too long.

That was on 1/19/22.LARG was contacted two days later, and we provided our tips for the family to follow. Flyers, yummy food and smells from her favorite person at the house, trail cam to see if she's eating. We had a couple of possible sightings, but they turned out to be other black cats.

After a K9 track determined that Daisy had visited a nearby feral colony, a camera placed there also showed a couple of black cats that were determined NOT to be Daisy. She probably wasn't welcome and didn't spend long there.🐱‍👤

Then finally after 1 month missing, a break! A neighbor only about 100 yards from home sent owner Dominic a photo of a black cat that he had been seeing in his yard.

She had ALMOST found her way back!

It then took a total of different traps over days to safely trap this girl. She is now safe at home, much thinner but purring and happy to be with her person. Stay put, Daisy!
